After a nearly 11-year battle trying to get approval, we’ve finally done it. Cottonwood Canyon was approved in Dec./Jan. timeframe to begin construction on a restaurant. The Bistro at Cottonwood Canyon will be an exclusive lunch only restaurant and the only restaurant located on the same property as a winery in all of Santa Barbara County! For those that already have visited the Santa Maria Valley for wine tasting, you know that there is definitely a need for a high quality restaurant along the Foxen Canyon Wine Trail. And where better to have it than at Cottonwood Canyon, overlooking the beautiful Sharon’s Vineyard. The Bistro will feature a unique French-Japanese fusion menu, focusing on smaller plates, deep flavors and wonderful wine pairings. The Bistro will also be home of the new Cottonwood Canyon tasting room, complete with intimate tables for tastings and a fireplace to cozy up to with a glass of wine and a good book. Not to mention, there will also be a banquet facility ideal for corporate parties, birthday parties, wedding receptions and meeting facilities for up to 165 people.
